After art classes at Cleveland High School, Sheri began her formal art education at Mississippi Delta Community College, then attended Delta State University where she earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree.

Sheri draws her inspiration from God's wonderful creation of the Mississippi Delta: the gorgeous magnolia, cypress, and mimosa trees, cotton fields, the mighty Mississippi River, climbing vines, and all the beautiful Delta flowers and birds. Her love for the natural Delta beauty is evident in her acrylic paintings and hand-made stoneware pottery.

Sheri has been blessed with a wonderful, but small family, Don, her husband of 30 years, and Kristen, her 25 year-old daughter. Her family has always been a great source of encouragement.
