Delta born and raised, graduate of Greenville High School in 1964 and University of Mississippi in January of 1968. I got interested in art through Senior Activities art class taught by Iris Mitchell at my church in 2005. My medium is watercolor. I am presently a member of Delta Artist Association joining in 2005, and am secretary at the present time. I have exhibited work at Guachoya in Lake Village twice and Delta Regional Medical Center in Greenville three times. I am donating a watercolor to the American Heart Association at the “Art for the Heart” fundraiser in April. I am married to Don Street, have two grown children and four grandchildren. I am a retired public school teacher (business education) and my hobbies are reading, playing bridge and mahjongg. I also am a member of Colonial Garden Club and will be its new secretary for the coming year. I am a member of the First Baptist Church where I serve as secretary of my Sunday School class, and I am also a member of the Senior Adult Choir.
